Work with a partner. Two heads are better than one. Talking through the logic together and checking each other’s math can be a big help in solving these puzzles.
- Pay attention to the wording. When the problem says AND you need both inputs. If the problem says OR, you only need 1. If the problem says NOT… you might need to try negative numbers.
- Don’t be afraid to guess and check. Seeing how the outputs change when you change the values can help you understand and find the answer.
