This Curriculum Co-design Workshop brought the AI4GA project team and teacher leaders across all three cohorts. Our goal was to develop the pedagogical support needed to help new middle school teachers understand the curriculum materials and confidently introduce their students to AI. This will enable the us to scale up middle school AI education in Georgia and beyond. Through this workshop participating teachers also strengthened and refined the AI knowledge and skills of our “teacher-leaders” who are mentoring the next generation of Georgia middle school AI teachers.
